Man & Machine Europe is the European head office of the American company Man & Machine Inc.
Our company develops and builds computer hardware for special environments, notably infection control keyboards and mice for medical environments.
Out of Haarlem, the Netherlands, we sell these products to customers all over Europe.
Our customers are IT Channel partners as well as medical equipment manufacturers. The European office also supports the UK sales office.

Job Opening:

International Account Manager DACH region

Your role:

  • Develop sales in Germany, Austria and Switzerland for Man&Machine’s products.
  • Account management to existing IT Channel partners, medical and dental IT resellers and medical equipment manufacturers in the region.
  • Channel management
  • Develop channel marketing activities.
  • Identify new customers and approach them (cold acquisition).
  • Localisation of marketing materials (translation and input for adaptation to German speaking countries).
  • Follow up on leads.
  • Attend and visit trade shows.

Who we are looking for:

  • You have a HBO or University level education, preferably in a business study.
  • You are a native German speaker
  • You have some experience in a sales role, preferably in IT Channel sales
  • You are a highly organized, reliable and a result oriented professional
  • You are fluent enough in English to communicate via email and phone in a corporate environment.
  • You are willing to travel in the German speaking countries (10-30% of your time).
  • You are flexible to take on other responsibilities in the field of sales, marketing and customer service when needed.

What we offer:

  • A small team of professionals that can be flexible in the amount of responsibility allocated to you, depending on your experience level.
  • The amount of working hours and timing can be negotiated and depends also on the fulfilment of the vacancy of Sales and Customer Support Specialist we offer simultaneously. Minimum 16 hours.
  • The possibility to work from the Netherlands or from Germany (start in NL).
  • Commission on sales results combined with base salary.

Sales and Customer Support Specialist

Your role:

  • Provide world class support to existing customers and new prospects.
  • Support customers in the entire pre-sales and order fulfilment process.  You provide product information, prepare quotes, and communicate pro-actively with the customer all aspects of the order process, hence providing an excellent customer experience to all customers.
  • You provide marketing support. You assist the management with trade show planning and preparing other marketing activities, and you provide such support also to customers.
  • You provide first line technical support and assist with the return materials process.
  • You assist the Customer Support Manager with inventory planning and management, shipping and receiving/ warehousing.

Who we are looking for:

  • You have a commercial background and personality.
  • You are a friendly person with a dedication to ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • You are a highly organized, reliable and a result oriented professional.
  • You are fluent enough in English to communicate via email and phone in a corporate environment. Additional languages are an asset.
  • You are willing to travel abroad a few times per year to assist at trade shows.
