- YOU WILL NEED TO DOWNLOAD SOFTWARE TO YOUR BLACKBERRY IN ORDER TO USE THE COOLMIR KEYBOARD.
- CoolMIR V4.3 is tested and compatible with BlackBerry 6210, 6220, 6230, 6280, 6510, 7100g, 7100r, 7100t, 7105t, 7100v, 7100x, 7130e,7100i, 7210, 7230, 7250, 7270, 7280, 7290, 7510, 7520, 8700c(4.1,4.2.1), 8700g(4.1, 4.2.1), 8700r(4.1,4.2.1), 8703e(4.1,4.2.1) 8100(4.2.1,4.5), 8130(4.3), 8300(4.2.2), 8310(4.2.2), 8320(4.2.1), 8350i(4.6.1), 8800(4.2.1,4.5), 8820(4.2.1), 8830(4.2.1,4.2.2), 8900(4.6.1), 8520(4.6.1), 9530(5.0.0), and 9600(5.0.0). In parenthesis are the BlackBerry handheld software versions.
- The keyboard may or may not work with BlackBerrys that are not in the list above and any future release BlackBerrys or handheld software versions.
- CoolMIR V4.3 is NOT compatible with BlackBerry 8220(4.6.0.180), 8530(5.0.0.337), 9630(4.7.1.61), 9550 (5.0.0.320) and the 4.5 software version on all BlackBerrys except 8100 and 8800. These specific software versions in parenthesis for these BlackBerrys do not support an external USB keyboard. As soon as RIM, maker of the BlackBerry, releases a software update that will allow external USB keyboard, we will test our keyboard and update the list above.
- For BES users, the BES must be 4.0 or higher.
- The keyboard has 72 US Layout keys with 18 shortcut keys to your favorite programs including Email,Calendar, Search, Phone, Internet, Menu, Escape, etc…
